The romantic atmosphere of Venice is perfectly captured by this stunning
hotel, housed in a 14th century palazzo that was originally built for Vettor
Pisani, commander of the Venetian Republic’s Navy. Later 16th to 18th
century additions have increased the size of the building and added to
its external charm. Inside it is a treasure trove of stained and Murano
glass, marble, carved wood and other examples of Venetian opulence.
The rooms are all individually decorated in styles ranging from classical-
Venetian to Art Deco, all are extremely comfortable.
Owned by four generations of the Serandrei family since 1908, the hotel exudes the
friendly and intimate ambience of a traditional Italian hotel. A roof terrace furnished
with lounge chairs and adorned with colourful flowers offers views of Venice’s rooftops
and is the ideal place to enjoy an apéritif. If you want to explore you couldn’t be better
placed as the hotel is right next to St. Mark’s Square and has direct access to a small
Venetian canal if you plan to travel by gondola.
